Alisha's baby shower was this afternoon, and it was so much fun! I've been carefully not posting pictures or posting about it, in the off chance she would check my blog, I didn't want to ruin the suprise!
The cupcakes (My sister baked them, and we decorated them together this morning)....
All the centerpieces are finished....to be placed on the tables after decorating....
The floral/diaper centerpieces.....
Close-up of the flowers (wif tineh ladybugs!).....
The diaper cake...looking a bit crooked. (I fixed it).....
Close-up of the sock flowers on the diaper cake. (More tineh lady bugs on bobby pins. Maddy has SO much hair, she can use adult-size bobby pins!).....
The jelly-bean favors....
And a close-up.....

First Day at the Opera...
And it was a good one! It was a long day, but I had a really good time. I can't wait to go back!
I ended up preparing a returning show for drycleaning for about half the day. The remainder of the day I measured skirts, organized the fabric stash (puts mine to shame!), and did some laundry. (I removed the blood from Lucia's nightgown. teehee!)
And now for some peekshurs!
Some seriously nice 18th century men's jackets. I really wanted to poke at 'em, but they're too high up to easily fondle!
And some pretty rad hats (I think they're getting ready to be packaged up for Little Women)
And the bestest.....there are eight rows...the cart in the aisle is about half way down the aisle, it disappears into the distance!
