Solstice Dress!

I messed around with some applique and goldwork last night. The one thing I decided was that if I really wanted this pattern, it would be about 20 years from now! The little 'slugs' took nearly no time at all, and the cornflowers about twice as long, but the fleur.....fuh-gedda-bowdit!

I was originally thinking of making yards and yard to trim the skirts and whatnot....uh......no. But it's cute anyway! I'll do it for some larger-scale project down the road.



The original idea was to do a strip and attach as guards, like so:

Finally! The sewing room is ready to go!

And vacuumed, to boot! I can't wait to start a new project!
